View Full ProjectThe brief
Public-awareness campaigns succeed when people understand not only the issue, but also the small action they can take next. Inspired by North Carolina's roadside litter-prevention and cleanup efforts, Harbor Creative designed an independent 90-day campaign concept that connects awareness, volunteer participation, and community recognition in one practical communications system. The study translates a campaign strategy into a coordinated content calendar, 39 planned post concepts, sample Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn messaging, creative direction, social graphics, approval considerations, and a measurement framework. Each stage is intended to move audiences from understanding the problem toward safe and informed involvement. Dates, agency links, and event information are illustrative and would need approval before use. This concept was not commissioned, published, or endorsed by NCDOT, and no real-world campaign outcomes are claimed.
Objective
Develop a practical campaign concept that helps audiences understand the issue, identify safe ways to take part, and see how individual actions contribute to cleaner roads—supported by repeatable content and an accountable publishing framework.
The approach
Harbor Creative organized the campaign around a purposeful progression: build awareness, make participation easier to understand, and recognize the people and partners sustaining the effort. Recurring editorial themes connect public education, volunteer readiness, safety, and community impact, with content tailored to Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn. The concept also includes a publishing cadence and measurement framework; recommended times and sample content remain illustrative rather than proven performance results.
